RESTFUL PARENTING IN THE KITCHEN


Turkey & Cream Cheese Wraps

Serves 4-6

Ingredients and Supplies

  • 3 large or 6 small Flour Tortillas
  • ¼ – ½ lb. favorite Deli Turkey, thin slice (We use Boar’s Head Maple Glazed Honey Coat Turkey.) 
  • 4-6 oz. Cream Cheese, room temperature 
  • 4-6 Romaine Lettuce leaves, spines removed, or cut or torn into small pieces
  • 1 large Carrot, grated
  • Cutting Board, parchment paper or plate
  • Spreader or Butter Knife for spreading cream cheese
  • Knife, optional

Directions

  1. Divide turkey, cream cheese, lettuce and carrots into 3 or 6 equal parts (it does not need to be exact)
  2. Place a tortilla on the cutting board
  3. Spread entire tortilla with cream cheese 
  4. Place turkey on ½ of tortilla
  5. Top with lettuce and grated carrot
  6. Starting on meat side, roll tightly and set aside
  7. Repeat with remaining tortillas 
  8. Leave whole, or cut into 2, 4 or 6 pieces
  9. Serve and Enjoy
