
Banana Chocolate Milk Shake
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients & Supplies
- 1 banana
- the juice of 1/4 slice of lemon
- 2 cups of your favorite chocolate milk, cold
- Whipped cream, optional
- Gallon-size resealable bag (Ziplock)
- Blender (No blender, no problem. See kid-friendlier version below.)
Directions
- Peel banana, break into 2-4 pieces, and place in resealable bag.
- Squeeze lemon juice onto the banana, rolling it around gently to cover all sides with lemon juice.
- Seal the bag, then place it in the freezer overnight or until frozen.
- Add chocolate milk and frozen banana to the blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into glasses, add whipped cream and enjoy.
Kid-Friendlier Version
- Put banana in resealable freezer bag (Ziplock)
- Remove excess air and seal tightly.
- Squeeze and press the banana until a smooth paste-like consistency is formed.
- Add chocolate milk to bag.
- Remove excess air and seal tightly. Squish and press bag until all banana pieces are dissolved in chocolate milk.
- Freeze until desired consistency is achieved.
- Put into glasses, add whipped cream, and enjoy.

Great recipe. I made it with the help of my seven year old daughter and we both enjoyed it. We will try it again and add some other fruits and strawberry milk as she loves strawberries.
