One of your greatest gifts is the gift of communication. As you listen, give others the opportunity to listen to you. Share who you are verbally and non-verbally, with the expectation of acceptance. Everyone won’t understand or accept you, because we can only accept others to the level that we accept ourselves. Accept that, pray that the person accepts themselves, and move on. There are people who can and will love, accept and listen to you; go find them.
